Where the differences matter

AI Review on Upload

Both products read documents as they arrive. DealRoom's AI Document Intelligence extracts key terms and flags potential risks. It's an add-on, and its help center calls it Beta.

DiligensHub's eleven checks run on each file, and they're on for every new deal. Signals then compares findings across the deal. DealRoom's deal-level chat lets you ask questions across contracts.

Viewing Levels and Downloads

DealRoom sets four levels per folder or file, from view to edit. Dynamic watermarks are its default.

DiligensHub has six levels per folder. They run from hidden and names only, through view-only and watermarked PDF, to the original file. When DRM is switched on for a deal, downloaded copies can be revoked. DealRoom's pages don't describe revoking downloaded files.

From Request List to Checklist

Both link documents to requests. In DealRoom, an Excel tracker becomes the room's request list. A document uploaded against a request is filed, and the request is marked complete.

In DiligensHub, you paste or upload a buyer's own request list. AI turns it into numbered items, mapped to your checklist, and suggests matching files.
